Pudding Eating Contest

Baby Crawling
Ready, set… crawl. The Baby Crawling Contest might be the cutest competition of Ukee Days. Cheered on by proud families and a very enthusiastic crowd, little racers will make their way (eventually) to the finish line - whether that’s a speedy sprint, a distracted detour, or a full sit-down halfway through. Fast or fashionably slow, it’s about tiny determination, and unpredictable race strategies you won’t see anywhere else.
Day: Sunday
Time: 11am
Location: Fairgrounds - Main Stage

Kids & Youth Logger Sports
Got a future logger in the family? With scaled down versions of classics like the choker race, nail drive, saw race, and hatchet throwing, these logger sports offer a chance to take part in a fun, west coast tradition.....without the chainsaws!

Nail, Sail, Bail
Think you and your team can build a boat… and keep it afloat? Welcome to Nail, Sail, Bail. Teams of four race to build a boat out of plywood and tuck tape, then put their masterpiece (or questionable construction choices) to the test in the harbour. Paddling is only half the battle - if things start to go sideways, you might be bailing faster than you’re sailing. It’s part engineering challenge, part team effort, and part “let’s hope this thing floats” - and honestly, watching what happens next is half the fun.
Day: Sunday
Time: 2.30pm
Location: Fairgrounds - Logger Sports Arena
Closing Date for Applications: Wednesday, 22 July 2026
